Ain Dubai (Dubai Eye), Dubai


The project was possibly the most iconic Rescom have carried out in our portfolio. The Ain Dubai project will change the Dubai skyline and provide a viewing platform of the city never seen before. 

Rescom successfully worked closely with Signify (Philips lighting) from audit, Design, Procurement and execution of the project as per the agreed program. Rescom, acting in the Project/site Management role was responsible for liaise with client and client consultants. Rescom involvement was Project Planning, Implementing HSE standards and Site management for all phases of the project.

The most unique challenge of this project was being that 70% of the installation works had to carried by Ab sailing from the center of the wheel. All of which was carried out in line with the strict program of works and with 0 LTI’s reported. 

The 210 m (689 ft) Ain Dubai (previously named the Dubai Eye) at Bluewaters Island. The wheel will be able to carry up to 1,400 passengers, in its 48 capsules, and provide views of Dubai Marina and landmarks such as Burj Al ArabPalm Jumeirah, and Burj Khalifa.[16] Its base will serve as an entertainment zone, and an 80 meter (260 ft) LED screen will be mounted on the wheel creating an electronic platform for broadcasting, advertisements, and other information.
